This hardened stainless washer is used to retain mag extensions on new model Remingtons without detents. Can also be used to retain mag caps on shotguns that have had the magazine detents removed to allow for use of magazine extensions. Eliminates the need for a detent in the forearm (Model 1100 & 11/87)or barrel ring (Model 870).
