FAQ’s-

Orders

Typically, you can expect your order to ship within 1-2 business days. Firearms and receivers/frames may take 3-5 business days to ship out. During holidays and higher than normal order volumes shipping times may be longer. We work very hard to get your order out to you as quickly as possible.

Yes, as long as the original order has not been packaged and is ready to ship.

As long as we have a valid email address when your order is shipped, you will receive an e-mail with your tracking information included.

Every state and sometimes locale can have different laws and regulations on firearms and magazine capacity. Before placing an order for a firearm or magazine, please check your State website for who might have that information, usually a Department of Justice (DOJ) or similar. You might also contact your local FFL dealer who would handle the transfer to ensure that the firearm you are interested in is compliant in your state.

Yes and No. If you are allowed to order an out of stock item in the On-Line Store, some items you can, then yes. Back Orders will be available for those products that we can quickly restock.  Otherwise No, we won't offer the option to back order for those products that are difficult to restock or we can't restock in a reasonable time.

Yes, we will gladly special order any firearm or firearm accessory as long as we can get a hold of it.

For Special Orders we require to be paid in full except for any Sales Tax or Shipping before we will order the item. This includes in shop work. Please note that there are no refunds for Special Ordered items unless we are unable to obtain it. On Special Order items any defects, suitability of use or other warranty issues will be the buyers responsibility with the original supplier/manufacturer.

Payment

We accept the following Credit Cards: Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover.

We also accept personal checks and Postal Money Orders. Please understand checks will be held until they clear our bank which can cause delays.

If you are having trouble submitting an order with your credit card check the following. Please note that we use AVS (Address Verification Service) to reduce fraud and protect our customers.

  1. Make sure you have entered all data correctly.
  2. Make sure the Billing Information you are imputing matches what your bank has on file. The Street address and Zip Code need to match those records.
  3. If you are shipping to a different address than the Billing address make sure the bank has that address on file since it is being verified also.
  4. Only Credit Cards from US Banks are accepted.
  5. Make sure the issuing bank supports AVS, most do.
  6. If you are using a prepaid credit card make sure you have an address associated with it.

Yes. Let us know and we will email an invoice to you. You can then go to the Invoice Payment page and complete the process.

Dealers

Yes, we do though not on everything. We also offer several items that are only available to dealers and can only be seen once a dealer is signed up and logged in. You can find information and the form to sign up here.

Returns

We have a 100% Satisfaction Guarantee on all of our products and want our customers to be completely satisfied with any purchase they make from us. If for any reason you are not happy with our product you just need to follow our guidelines for returning it. We will offer you a replacement, exchange or full refund for initial purchase price (minus shipping costs) depending on the situation.

Requirements that need to be met.

  1. Contact us to receive a RMA (Returns Material Authorization) prior to shipping items to ensure they are processed in a timely fashion. Products will not be accepted without an RMA. Failure to get an RMA before returning an item for any reason will void our Return/Exchange/Refund policy and result in the item being returned without any action being taken.
  2.  The product must be in new condition and in the undamaged original packaging.
  3. Merchandise must be return shipped in a protective box to prevent any damage and with the ability to verify delivery to us (Tracking Number).
  4. We will offer a full refund including shipping if the return resulted from our error. Otherwise, we will deduct the original shipping costs from your refund.
  5. Refunds for items purchased with a Credit Card will be returned to a Credit Card. Any other payment types will be refunded via Check delivered by USPS.
  6. The customer will receive a refund within 10 business days of our receiving the return.

As long as the customer has not altered the part in anyway like filing, grinding, hammering, etc. then they can return the item by following the Returns/Exchanges/Refunds guidelines. Once we receive the part we will examine it for any signs of obvious alteration. If none is present then we will process with either an Exchange or Refund. If any alteration is present then no Refund or Exchange will be authorized.

If the part is otherwise damaged or broken it will be examined to see if damage is due to customer abuse, improper installation methods, alteration, etc. If damaged is determined to be from improper fitting/installing then no Refund or Exchange will be authorized.

Gunsmithing

NO, while we have worked on a wide variety of firearms in years past, we have condensed down to a select group. But with that being said there are firearms not listed on the website that we will still consider working on, this would be on a case by case basis. Email us with the details and we can let you know.

We will not work on firearms where we can not reliably source parts for the model of firearm you have, you can not provide accurate detail on what you have, it is an air rifle/pistol, muzzle loader, normally classified as an antique (Pre 1898), has Damascus barrels, any firearm we deem unsafe or illegal. At the present no NFA.

Yes, depending on what the work is we may be able to complete the job with just a few components. Of course there is work that will require the complete firearm. Just be aware that if it is a job that we would normally test fire after the work was completed and we can not do the test fire to confirm the work then there will be very limited warranty, if at all, if there is an issue with any part of the job. Please email us if you are uncertain and we can advise.

While we do not have a written or stated warranty we do stand behind all of our work. For over the past 35 years we have offered some of the best gunsmithing work in the country. If you have an issue with any work let us know and we will work to correct it. Besides the work we will also be looking at your ammo, magazines, lubrication, etc. to rule out problems.

Make sure that all components are well protected from each other and if you are not shipping in a case, double boxed in heavy cardboard. If you are shipping in a hard case it should be shipped inside a cardboard box to avoid additional shipping charges. Include in the package a detailed letter or download our Work Order Form, describing the work you wish or the exact mechanical problem you are experiencing, even if we have had previous correspondence. Make sure your contact information with a daytime telephone number and return shipping information is present in the letter as well. If required we will contact you once we have had a chance to look over your firearm. When shipping a firearm always insure for the replacement cost. Ship with UPS or FedEx Signature required. Also include us in an email with the Tracking Number.

Note: Firearms being sent for service can normally be sent by an individual and do not require transfer through an FFL. See "Does my firearm need to be shipped through an FFL holder?" for additional details.

Normally No, for repairs or other service work an individual may ship their firearm directly to us without using an FFL for the transfer and we will return it directly to you. However, some States or locale's may require an individual to ship a firearm through an FFL no matter what the purpose. If you are shipping through an FFL you need to let us know ahead of time.

One thing to note when shipping through an FFL, make sure it is the same one you will be using to receive the firearm back. If you don't then you will be required to fill out a Form 4473 and go through the same process as if you were purchasing it.

If you have any questions let us know and we can provide additional details.
