Shop Policies-

Return/Refund

Merchandise may be returned, if unaltered and in the original packaging. A Return Authorization is required for all returns. This can be obtained by either phone or email. No return will be accepted without an authorization. Merchandise must be shipped within 5 days of Return Authorization otherwise customer will be charged a 20% restock fee. No returns accepted after 30 days of purchase. Refunds are for product purchase price only; shipping is non-refundable unless we are in error. Special order and Close Out marked items are non-refundable, non-returnable.

Backorders

We try to avoid backorders, but increased demand can leave us unable to fill orders promptly. For Online orders, if an item is shown “In Stock” but is “Out of Stock” when your order is processed your credit card will be refunded immediately unless we can ship the order in 5 business days.  For phone orders with customer agreement, we will hold backorders for no more than 10 days if an item is out of stock. If we are unable to fill your order you will be notified.

Prices

Prices are subject to change at any time without notice. Only those prices confirmed by written quote are guaranteed. Quotes if provided are good for 15 days only. To lock in pricing the quote must be secured by deposit for the total cost of parts within those 15 days to guarantee parts and labor pricing until work is started.

Firearms/Restricted Items

Firearms: Orders for rifles, shotguns, handguns and frames/receivers require an FFL for shipment. You can read in detail about our On-Line Firearm Sales Policy here. Nebraska residents will be required to complete a Form 4473 and possess either a Nebraska Firearm Purchase Permit or a Nebraska Concealed Handgun Permit for an in-shop purchase. Complete firearms have Federal Excise Tax (FET) included. All firearms, including frames/receivers are shipped by either UPS or FedEx, Adult Signature Required.

Restricted Items: Please be aware that it is the customers ultimate responsibility to know what is restricted in their particular locale or state. By placing an order with Tank’s Rifle Shop LLC, the customer acknowledges that the items being ordered are legal for them to possess. We reserve the right to cancel any orders when we recognize a restricted item being ordered for a particular state.

Privacy

Tank’s Rifle Shop LLC holds all customer information in the strictest confidence. No customer information of any kind is ever shared with third parties for any means, except as required by law. You can review our Privacy Policy here.

Our Customer Purchase Agreement.

While Tank’s Rifle Shop LLC tries to stay abreast of State laws it is almost impossible due to the enormity of it all, there are literally thousands, and they are changing constantly. Therefore, it is the ultimate responsibility of the customer to ensure that items ordered are legal to own in their locale. Tank’s Rifle Shop LLC adheres to all Federal and State laws and will not knowingly ship restricted items to any customer and retains the right to refuse to process any order it feels violates that policy.

Tank’s Rifle Shop LLC only sells to US Citizens within the United States. We do not offer any export service. All items sold are with the understanding that the final end user is in the USA. Any order we determine that does not meet the above requirement will be cancelled except with proper export documentation.

It is highly recommended that all parts be installed by a competent gunsmith or other person familiar with the specific firearm modified. No liability is expressed or implied for damage or injury which might result from improper installation or use of any firearm, part or accessory.

It is recommended that only quality factory ammunition which meets SAAMI specifications be used in any firearm. While handloading may increase accuracy potential, Tank’s Rifle Shop LLC specifically disclaims any responsibility or warranty for damage which may result from using other than quality factory ammunition.

Due to Tank’s Rifle Shop LLC and many of our suppliers continued R&D programs we reserve the right to change specifications or change/cancel product offerings at any time without prior notice.

It is agreed by and between Buyer and Seller that all disputes, if any, and all matters whatsoever arising under, in connection with, or incident to any business transaction shall be litigated, if at all, in and before a Court located in the City of Fremont, County of Dodge, State of Nebraska, United States of America to the exclusions of the Courts of any other State.
